Charles Schwab Regional HQ Sells for $196 million
Real Estate Alert recently reported that iStar Financial paid about $196 million, or $330/sf, for Harborside Plaza 10, a 594,000-sf office building in Jersey City, N.J. The 18-story building is fully leased to Charles Schwab through 2017, but the investment bank has subleased more than 40% of its space, and is trying to sublease the rest. The seller was a joint venture between Mack-Cali of Cranford, N.J., and local developer Columbia Development.
